Stayed at this campground July 10+11. The campground is a bit tight, and we had a large audience for our "squeeze in". That said, all hookups worked great, we fit in the backed in space and had a nice shade tree over our RV. Bathrooms were clean for a beach site (lots of sand, to be expected though). The key to this campground is location. If the sites were a bit deeper, it would be a 10 rating. Wow, still, even being 4 rows off the beach it was great. Best time of the day is 6 - 8P when the sun is heading down and lots of people enjoying the cooler temps and sunset. If you are interested in the beach, stay on the beach side vs. park side. And, if you can plan in advance, get the spots on the beach. Priceless! Bring all your beach toys, outdoor living rooms, etc no matter your spot. You won't regret it. Oh, btw, our price was high because we had 9 on our site.

We have stayed in two ocean front campsites on this trip. This one and Red Coconut in Fort Myers Beach. Both offered different things, but were great. This campground offers good size sites, covered wooden porches/cabanas with each site. A nice touch. The pool is large and clean. CG needs a campground store, but there is a gas station up the street. Bathrooms were relatively clean, however, could use a bit of freshening up. Not sure beach front sites are all that important as the dunes are in the way. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Huge sites. Convenient to park. We didn't get much out of the park (my kids like more action). Gas barbecues and wooden decks for each camper (at least near the pool where we were). The sites were recently spruced up but were still kind of barren. You backed up to a row of trees but each rig stuck out without any shade. The bathrooms from 5P to 7/A the next day had not been cleaned, but were not terrible. Highly recommend the light show and fireworks. Free, nightly at the main park. Kids loved it.

Excellent campground in excellent area. We had a stream-side site. The kids loved it. They would have played in it all day long. Nice and clean. Also had a fire ring. Site was nice and big. Hookups were good. Lots of shading on the campground. Definitely would come back.

Great CG. Nice large spaces. They charged us for 2 sites since we had 9 people. Don't know why they couldn't just have a per person surcharge. Anyway, nice site, plenty of shade. Close to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg action. We avoided commercial stuff and took a tour of the smokies, went to the Forbidden Caverns (fun) and just hung out. Had a problem with the valve on our black tank and Ricky's RV Repair was there within two hours and fixed it right up. Highly recommended. Nice guy too. Don't know why people complain about pulling out of this campground. I never had a problem with our 40' diesel rig.
